Just beware of the Hamlib TS480 library for PTT, it has a race condition where the order of the replies from the DUO can cause lockups. Stick to using serial port PTT and the problem goes away. We need some brave soul to write an official Hamlib library entry for the DUO, without the bugs of the TS480 version. I see now that setting FLDigi sound card Port Audio to 'Line (FDM-DUP Audio v1.04)' gets the audio stream from the stand alone DUO. The DUO must be started first, then open FLDigi.

I did need to increase the gain a bit on the DUO to get equivalent levels as compared to my TS-590S. However, I should have been more specific in my question. I was referring to using the FDM SW2 software and sending its output to the decoders. I read this app note from Elad: ELAD Application Notes AN-­‐002 rev 1.0 Setting FDM-­‐SW2 with external programs: CW Skimmer, FLDI This is where they say to use the recommended port emulator and set the second and the receivers in SW2 to different ports. I have not yet tried transmitting PSK on the DUO but that will be be my next step and I will need to enable CAT. I'll try looking for a RigCat file for the DUO like the one that works so well in FLDigi with the TS590S.
